The law firm Kalliopé has advised the CGFI group on the acquisition of SCODEV Agro N’Tech (SCODEV), a specialist in basic soil improvers and solid fertilisers derived from co-products, from the Normandy-based group Lepicard Agriculture.
Founded over 40 years ago in Fort-de-France, CGFI specialises in the production of mineral and organic fertilisers, the sale of agricultural inputs and the production of environmental reagents. This transaction is part of the Group’s strategy to strengthen its position in the fertiliser market. It will enable SCODEV to continue its development by expanding its product range, strengthening its territorial coverage in France and pooling resources with the group.
Kalliopé assisted CGFI with all the transactional and corporate aspects of the deal, with a team made up of Guillaume Martinet and Alexia Berbain Faguer (partners), who have been assisting CGFI’s managers with their development operations since 2006, and Karim Bouhali (associate). Clément Levalois (CCA Audit) advised on the financial aspects.
Lepicard Agriculture was advised by Aurélien Ferrand, David Abihssira and Thomas Tallec (Messis Finance – Bank), and Mickaël Goupil and Virginie Facchina (Hoalen Avocats).
